I’ve always liked a good ‘free write’. The contradictions produced (writing about not being able to write) are a joy to read. I’m interested to see how this translates.

Tragic and self defeating. Funny how writing about being uninspired can be a form of inspiration. We ficlers all have lulls and doubts about our writing, at least I do, so I can relate. This is a good way to push through and produce. Your ficly is pleasantly self aware, you’re, or your character, is arguing himself. It’s like a one man debate.
