Black wings pinned to his back, his heavy vocals echoed through the realm of Hades. Behind him, a girl, the daughter of Aphaea. His heart beat for her. And he was taking her back after a demon has stolen her away.

“sic erit; haeserunt tenues in corde sagittae, et possessa ferus pectora versat Amor.”

Erebus’ son had done well to speak poetic in Latin, for it had charmed Hades into allowing his love to return. And as another before him, he could not look to her face ’till they made it home.

“Cedimus, an subitum luctando accendimus ignem? cedamus! leve fit, quod bene fertur, onus.”

And suddenly; moonlight. And they were there.

Reeve and Willow had returned to the land of the living. And in the pale, ivory beams of the moon, the rejoiced in a tearful embrace, whole once more.
