I get the Dennis Miller reference, but I have to agree that the last bit loses some of the sarcastic punch in text. Otherwise, great piece.

I hate when they wont let you merge ont the road its like what did they think my car was just going to get real small.

You make a very good point. I haven’t driven in this situation (I’ve only had my permit for about a month and a half), but I have seen this quite a bit.

Although, I’d have to say my favorite part was the title: I can just hear the miffed, ticked-off sarcasm in which the title should be shouted.

I like the title. And I’m with the others on reckoning the last line takes a bit of the punch out. A flippant shrug-off of an ending would be cool for this kind of piece, but perhaps you could’ve tied it in with the “zippers, people!” idea. Clearly the challenger liked it though – well don on winning that :)
