Writing is a special form of insanity,
Voices clattering,
Nattering,
Screaming to get out.
Shining,
Blinding,
Compelling a feverish obsession.

Ideas are a puff in the wind,
Vaporous,
There and gone again,
Scrabble to grab them,
Fingers close around them,
and even then,
Sometimes,
They still get away.
