Rachel and Steve shouted across the table at each other. While seeing eye to eye on many topics, their discussion on Pastafarianism had proven to be too much. Visibly shaken by Steve’s lack of understanding of ‘noodly goodness,’ Rachel held her ground that pirates were much more powerful than ninjas. Steve felt Rachel’s overestimation of their power was due to the romanticism collectively held by society for the fun-loving, adventure-seeking sea-farers. The stealthy covert skills of the ninjas would quickly trump any pirate-based attack. Sadly, they both came to the conclusion that any relationship could be built on such a spiritual rift between them.
