I enjoyed that little twist at the end. This was a great entry, I’m not religious at all but I love this particular story.

The serpent in R. Crumb’s illustrated version of Genesis looks like a lizard man. It’s pretty creepy looking.

Clicking around Ficly (newish here) and found this wonderful story! I love how “real” their conversation is; they sound like any couple you might know. And the twist at the end was perfect!
