Omigosh, this just took a turn for political intrigue/suspense. I like it!

Actually, I mean to drop the ‘on the’ before constantly. That sentence went through several changes.

The minister controls him.. and it is painful.
So I guess maybe you have a dystopian video game society here.

“Because you are a good citizen and love your country.”

That gave me chills, and had me gritting my teeth alongside the protagonist. Powerful stuff – I want more!

You had me at “bloodied teenager” – Those pesky critters. ;)

The whole video game concept made me think of a dark version of “Video Game High School” by Freddie Wong.

Very cool. I too loved the tension in the last two lines.
