Poor guy, he didn’t even get to properly introduce himself before Cora ripped into him. There’s gotta be a metaphor in there somewhere, but it’s too early to think like that.

Cora’s abruptness in the first part made me think that she’s, perhaps, grown tired of her role. What better role than that of the Grim Reaper….In a red dress, even. She could be on the verge of pushing the limits, and might let things get much uglier.

Admittedly, not what I had in mind when I wrote the original story, but I did enjoy this sequel. You took my original story and made it your own.

On your writing, in the middle paragraph, you don’t need the comma, the question mark serves as a terminus for the dialogue.

On your writing style, it’s good. In microfiction, short, concise paragraphs are what you want, and this met the bill on that one. Good work.
