Bit of a twist on the Little Mermaid scenario, but at least it’s for something a bit more worthwhile than a crush on a boy with whom you’ve never had a conversation. The back and forth worked well, and you set up the conversation with the right kind of portent.

It wasn’t as polished an idea as I liked, but hey, they aren’t all winners.
