Not sure if I’m completely in love with where I took this, I really wanted the stunned out of body thing. so I may make some tweaks to it or just write another little ficly.

Seemed entirely too ‘at ease’ in this. It’s almost like a person describing what’s going on while watching TV with the sound off. Hrm…

Nice entry in the challenge, a sort of placid out of body experience and resignation to death. Nicely done. Felt genuine.

I likes how subtle the awakening was to the character. If I were to awaken to see myself dead in a coffin I would probably be more stunned than outraged. The description of the smell and bitter cold feeling were great. I like your use of imagery too!

@Michael, pain is in the flesh. I like to think that death brings a sort of inherent tranquility with it.

This was great. I really liked the writing technique, and I find it interesting how the spirit still interacts physically. I can’t help but think “what if she hadn’t woken until she was six feet under?”
