Very nice. I particularly liked the syphilis line. Also, I think you’ve added a subtle hint that Matt might just be crazy—despite Simon being missing.

I’ve not read any of the previous entries in this chain, but I like this section. You’ve let us see quite a bit of Matt’s personality in such a short space. It makes me want to know more. Good job.
