Descriminating a Horror
The insects had mandibles which I studied intently. Sharp. They seemed to be the main tool for eating the victims. I crouched back behind the counter in the run down doughnut shop to think.
“They couldn’t have gotten here that fast…” I thought. But then my foggy, sleepless mind came up with a solution.
They were breeding. That must be it. They resembled insects in such a large variety of ways that it only made sense for them to be breeding just as quickly.
Once I figured it out, I realized that I had to make a very important phone call; one that would determine the fate of the already half-dead city I was currently residing… and the possible survivors.
