Is it okay of me to say that the last bit made me think of Murakami? It’s so mundane and surreal at the same time.
Watch your verb tense: “realized” sticks out as past tense amid a paragraph of present tense. Also, the “What an ironical journey!” line doesn’t seem necessary—the reader can figure that own on his/her own.
I particularly like the different identities of time: healer, thief, nemesis.
Maybe I’ve been reading too much Murakami. But I really enjoy his work because I see a lot of parallels with his thought and mine. I deleted the line. :)
