The Feeling in My Gut
I cannot start to explain the feeling in my gut.
It all started earlier that day. It was a normal moring commute, Todd Greene was watering his plants while Susan Yost drank tea on her front porch. The Derby boys were running to the bus stop again, they are always late. Nothing was out of the ordinary.
I continued down the sidewalk toward my destination, this is when I noticed something unusual. I gasped when I finally realized what it was! There was no more ground! What use to be the sidewalk and street was now transparent! The most unusual part was it seemed that no one even noticed! Eveyone just kept walking. I stopped at the edge of the sidewalk and stared. It was an abyss but it appeared to have a bottom, that is when I noticed something. It was a person at the bottom! I squinted, straining my eyes. It was me! The shock hit me so hard I became unbalanced and fell!
I flinched awake! “Holy hell! What was that!?” I look to my friend.
“It’s okay dude, everyone has a bad trip.”
Damn acid.
