Disastrous, Burned, Helplessness
Derek Shepherd, a first-year resident in Seattle Grace Hospital. Today is his very first day residency. “You are a intern, you are basically a moron to us.” His attending and chief of the surgery, Ellis Grey, said. “Ok people, I just knew that a disastrous fire accident, the injuries will be delivered within ten minutes. We need to clear as many as beds we can. Transfer non-priority patients to other hospitals. Postpone all surgeries, we will need every O.R. Let’s move, people!”
All Derek can do is just standing there with his helplessness. Hearing severely injured patients moan, Derek just can’t help them. “DO SOMETHING! DON’T JUST STAND THERE! COME HELP!” Dr. Ellis Grey yelled. The patient is Clementine Sloan, 10, with severe head trauma. Dr. Grey examined her for not even a minute. “Time of death, 1049.” Dr. Grey calls. “Wait, you just… you didn’t do anything!?” Derek questioned. "With this kind of brain damage, no one can help her. Her brain is dead. " Dr. Grey said.
