Several decades ago, numerous archaeologists formed an expedition and made the research of Pompei Scavi. It was caused by the eruption of Vesuvius volcano. They were eager to find whether there were special species covered under Pompei Scavi. To their surprises, they found at least five extinct species that were disappeared for few centuries. Especially there was a weird animal. According to archaeologists, they put the fossil into a machine to simulate what it really looked like. It’s so odd that the creature owned a lion’s head, the feet of horses, ostrich’s body and got a dog’s tail. Archaeologists are still now trying to figure out what exactly the species is.
