“Is it safe?” Elletra asked, watching Hawkeye prime the capsule with some type of timing device she wasn’t familiar with.

“Is anything from the Earl safe?” Hawkeye stated without looking up from his work.

She bit her lip. You’re safe.

Hawkeye stood up and nodded at Jerem. The captain began to open a chute that led to the outside of the ship. Hawkeye started the timer and shoved the heavy capsule into the chute with an echoing clang.

They rushed above deck just in time to hear a loud bang that shook the floor beneath them. Everyone craned their necks to see overboard as long streams of fire engulfed the air below in a spiraling motion. In a matter of seconds, the ground below was blocked by a churning fire that didn’t seem to stop.

Elletra shuddered and hissed at Hawkeye, “We need to find where these are being made and destroy every last one of them.”

Hawkeye didn’t take his wide eyes off the inferno as he nodded.
