A lovely ode to drinking. At first I thought it was about shooting a gun, but that just shows where my head is at. Nice sequencing to show cause and effect.

I was aiming for drugs, but the idea of shooting a gun came to me too.

I didn’t like stanza 4 line 2 though. It fit with what I had in mind, yet didn’t look or sound good when I re-read it.
