Hester strained against the ties holding her to the table. “Don’t do that,” mutters Dr. Finnegan, “it will damage your heart. All that extra blood pressure won’t be good at all.” Dr. Finnegan draws a syringe and fills it with a serum.
“I never signed up for this,” Hester breathed.
“Actually, you did,” came the reply. “And many times over. You made that purchase. There was a license and agreement. You had the opportunity to decline, but you agreed.”
“I never read that, no one does.”
“And that is why we are here. You see, it’s in the fine print. Now let’s get started.”
