Interesting stuff and maintains the overall feel and intensity of the series. Some typos or run-on or something at the end of the paragraph that starts, “The room was cramped…” I still have no idea what’s going on, but it sounds great.

If you are ever bored, go back to the beginning of the series and it will make more sense. :P
