It was sort of stream of consciousness, actually, Elisabeth. It turned into a combination of serious / silliness.

Fly-overs with bombs creates too much collateral damage. They don’t want to destroy too much of their own country fighting the rebels!

Besides, they would be hover-bombs, which aren’t terribly efficient when dropped from the sky.

I imagine Canadian Rebels dressed in spotless, unwrinkled fatigues, toting shiny AK-47s and stopping their fuel-efficient hover-jeeps at every stop sign.

Also, you get five pencils for the hovertoaster!
