Have you read Murakami before? One of his short stories that ended up in two books (one as a short story and in the other it was merely part of a larger story). Anyway that story has naughty phone calls and mentions the time too. Great call backs and if it’s a coincidence, that is pretty amazing.

Never heard of him before this challenge – just kind of sat with the list and said, “which of these can I toss together?” Further proof that I’ve got the shine (I was just writing on my blog about this a few day ago).

Since when is 16 legal? In any case, it fits the challenge well and feels disturbingly real, gritty, and…you know, filthy. Well done.

16 is legal in the United Kingdom, at the very least.

I struggled a little to understand the question that was asked, which I interpreted to be “you asked when I was legal”.

16 is the age if consent for sex in many states in the US. I wanted her as young as possible to keep it filthy :)

That was filthy.. and well done. I wasn’t sure of the male’s age, old enough to have stubble, which I always brings to mind older men than teenagers, but it works for them, too. Brings to light the ‘age of consent’ questions as well, which stirred up some controversy in comments, i see. :)

Which means the male told the girl he’d have her as soon as she was legal… She took that literally, and called him at 7:18.
