AMAZING! I loved it! I was drawn in from the very first line. Oh and if I may say… the last line is absolutely killer.

It definitely counts as horror in the same vein as Dracula. I’d say it shares many of Dracula’s qualities such as being stylish, psychological, very cultural and… well, really quite unkind.

The concept’s fantastic, and definitely chilling, though I think starting almost every sentence with “he” can make your story a little boring. The last paragraph you vary it up nicely, which makes it the most interesting part of the piece.

Yeah, but I didn’t want the man to have a name so I kept referring to him as “he”.

I didn’t look at the tags until after I’d read it, though I suspected he was up to something nefarious as I read. I was definitely drawn in by that first line as well.
