The last line is from Dante’s Inferno and translates as, “Through me you go to the grief wracked city; Through me you go to everlasting pain.”

I would like to see Blue Jim introduced earlier. It seems Marshall is somewhat of a side kick but the conversation between the two seems like they are strangers; that Blue Jim can call Marshall out in his full name but Marshall can’t respond in kind. On purpose? I love the scene you set up, it just seems the characters are lost in it.
