(6) Confined Sunshine
Who goes in the shadows?
You there. Are you there?
where black hole’s freeze
the rolling waves and warm breeze of time’s
coastline? Tied-tight-n-outta-sight in no time.
That’s why I’m unconfined—— so is your mind.
We’re not being ground down to spoonfuls of moon
powder that plume in its gape; like flower’s that bloom
and droop death where they drape— on a universe of dirt
so the earth can consume and create. But do come find me if
I’m ever drifting blindly out of time behind its shape, and we’ll be
one with the sun, and its light, right where there is no cloudscape or
fate— only faith as
we make our
escape.
