Man, first day on the new job and I’ve already been tasked with optimizing my small business’ performance with cloud hosting services. Think of it, this is my first real job out of college and I already have so much responsibility.

I mean, it’s a small company, so the pay isn’t great, but the amount of experience I’m getting makes up for it. Everyone else that works here is really smart and willing to teach me. And it’s not just that, the amount of respect they show me despite how young I am just blows me away.

We’re looking to move our physical servers to cloud hosting in order to save money on colo space. I’ve been put in charge of leading the technical side of the project. Currently, I’m researching and evaluating solutions.

My list has all of the basics: AWS, Azure, etc… but then I found this one Indian company that had a spam advertisement cleverly disguised as a story on ficly.
