Blunt, and in the end it felt like it was written as much to yourself as anyone else. It is an easy thing to express, to put into words. It is an altogether different thing to genuinely let the old hurts go.
We should learn from our mistakes, or we will make them again. Part of learning IS moving on, but part is also seeing in advance the place where you should veer off course so you don’t repeat the same endings.
Experiences are just that, experiences. It’s when we start categorizing that we do ourselves a disservice. Isn’t it strange that many people rarely learn from the good and bury the bad? Not a great formula for learning.
A lazy man revisits his successes. But it’s a brave man that revisits his failures.
