Dear folks at Ficly,

Sorry it’s taken me so long to write. It’s just that it’s taken this long to get anywhere. That’s what I get for hopping a slow freighter, I guess.

The picture on the front is the largest of the mercury falls on S’ku’alia. It’s considered one of the eighty-one wonders of the Gr’u’u!lk empire. I was lucky enough to see it during one of the planet’s triple sunsets. Magnificent. You really have to see it to appreciate how beautiful it is. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

The hotels here are very expensive and I’m not going to be able to spend more than another day or two. I thought I might be able to pick up the odd job waiting tables and such but I don’t get the language. I don’t think I have nearly enough appendages to be able to “speak” even the simplest word properly nor enough eyes to be able to “hear” it properly. LOL.

Anyway, I’ll be moving on to Ytana next. I hear they’ve got some great cobalt sand beaches but I have been warned about the bugs.
