There’s a special bliss that I sometimes think only young lovers can truly experience.

This I believe is true.

You have an uncommonly extensive vocabulary, and the eye to make artistic use of it. I feel as if I just read a painting of thoughts and sensations.

I feel so happy that you feel that way about my writing. I cannot help but have a large vocabulary. In order to improve my writing, I sit around and read the dictionary sometimes. It’s silly I guess, but it has helped me more than I thought it ever would.

I don’t know if this was intentional, but her gently pessimistic outlook tragically bookends this piece. Beginning with the fear of fated disaster and ending with a vague allusion to the worst possible event in her life.

Reading a dictionary is not at all silly. I salute you.
