I never thought of those ‘situations’ as being ‘risks’. Seems like you’d have a choice to take a risk or not. Then again, guess that analogy applies here too. Nice ‘slice-of-life-story’, Elsh.
Choosing to quit or pursue a job is a choice and a risk. Choosing to have a child, where to live, to listen or not, are all risks. Letting others make that choice for you is a risk.
Very good description and definitely lays out the risk in not striking out and taking risks. You miss all the shots you don’t take, sort of. Sad and compelling.
