Nicely done – you develop the theme of the main character’s psychosis well. A good description of the dulling of the senses associated with antipsychotics.

Sweet, a sequel! Whoa, this is wilder and much more sensual than my piece. I can’t wait to see how ‘Abi’ gets worked into the mix. Your ‘…lose his self for a while.’ gave me an idea.

At first, “his self” felt wrong and uneven on the tongue. The more I read it, however, the more perfect it fit.

I wasn’t sure what POV you were using here.. his or hers. You seemed to mix the two and now I can’t tell who needs Abi more.

I love how the pill is nicknamed, as if the pill is a real person.

Very trippy and aptly describes this sordid love affair with chemistry. It might have had more punch with more accurate detail of the drugs involved (ie, abilify usually doesn’t cause nausea, but it does frequently cause restlessness).
