Skilfully done, and surprisingly rich in character detail for so short a piece. The mother is convincingly drawn in just a couple of lines (nice dialogue) and who couldn’t like good ol’ peg-legged Harold? Blends rather more convincingly with its sequel, Rabid Dogs, than many stories on Ficly.
