I think you meant “close” in this sentence: “Closer to two dollars had better be worth it…” The payoff for the story also feels a bit weak. I’m kind of jaded in my old age though, so a simple kiss isn’t quite the ending I’m looking for. And an Atomic Fireball would be a much better choice at around 15 cents a piece.
