Intriguing story, and a likeable character clearly cast in the Roy and Miriam mold (but embodied, presumably, in the same person). Well done for a clever challenge entry.

Love the idea of trainer possession, it removes all that need for willpower and makes training just a question of handing it all over. However the piece definitely throws up the cost of that abdication of responsibility. The idea of the only communication with the ‘other self’ through scribbled notes to each other gives so much scope for expanding the piece and making it even thriller like, as in Momento Mori. Good job.

I’m not sure this kind of insomnia is something I would like, though it is as close to cloning yourself as you can get and you could get a lot of work done.

I had to laugh at the punchline to this one. Definitely a physical trainer of one’s nightmares. :)
