Excellent research skills on display here, BiC; a nice blending of reality (the closure of the much maligned A344) and fiction (the purchasing of Avebury by Akmal – as far as I’m aware, English Heritage have not yet sold out to a Middle Eastern oil magnate or similar, but it is probably only a matter of time).

Time to work on the backstory, I think, so that these parallel tales have some chance of converging before too long.

Nicely told moment. I love all the details and the overall dreamy, airy feel to it. It reminds me of the iconic opening frames to the ‘Nick Fury: Agent of Shield’ comic, just in how it feels.
