I like the sense of ambivalence that permeates this piece, the ending using the dissonance between the come here/go away feelings we all have sometimes. I liked the move from chasing closure to a drink chaser, it was cleverly done And as for the word ‘closure’ its such a throwaway word used these days by some people when what they mean is ’You’ve got to stop all this.’ . Think you don’t get closure, closure gets you when you are all opened up and that’s the conundrum you have to solve. Sorry will get off my soapbox about the use of Psychology 101 and Oprah Winfrey cliche’s that can get thrown around by very well intentioned people.
