Great translation of the grimness to someone less burdened by command but other troubles.

I wonder if giving the man who liked folding paper and orange a name would make it clearer that the narrator is referring to another soldier who had just died as it took me a second reading before I quite figured that out. Otherwise it is a really good intro for a character and conveys the world weariness he feels about fighting.

I meant that Logan is both the dead man and the one who liked folding paper and the color orange.
