It’s funny how you can go from comfortable friends to awkward strangers over the years. I suspect just about everyone has a relationship like this in their history.

Intriguing description of a relationship. I could relate to the line about not wanting to stand to close to his past. I like how it’s largely platonic and innocent but seems to just barely hint at other possibilities or undertones…or maybe I’m reading too much into stuff.
