Each section of this story, Eifan will be faced with a choice. It will be your job to comment on which choice he should make. The one that gets the most votes will determine which way the story goes. Clear enough? Good.
A) Inspect another object in the room; B) move on to another location; or C) open to suggestions?
Nicely written, and I like the careful attention given to the org here, something that doesn’t always feel like an option in our ultra-short ficly medium.
It feels like he should move to another location, get away from this place saturated with the orb’s dark power…or something like that.
It does help that I intend this as an ongoing series, so it gives me a few more liberties to dive into some more detailed descriptions. I’m kind of enjoying the RPG-like qualities of communal decision-making to decide the story’s direction.
Heh, HSAR, you approve? I’m glad it didn’t go completely unnoticed. The idea just kind of sprang into my mind, and I loved it, so I ran with it. I’ve been building some backstory just around that one item, figuring out how it even exists in this world I’m building. I can actually see myself revisiting Eifan’s world in other stories besides this series. I’m starting to really like living here.
