My kitchen is always open.
Just give me a time and I’ll cook.
But really, I still am hopin’
To make something not in the book.

Everyone wants their mom’s cooking
(And I’ll give it a go, I guess).
But still, I find myself looking,
To cook up a brand new success.

I’ve got the pots, I’ve got the pans,
I’ve got the time, I’ve got the heart.
Some have small thoughts, I have big plans
To create something great – it’s art!

The world’s tough on the new and young
Chefs that get ignored and suppressed.
But my kitchen greets the unsung,
Daring, bold chefs poised for the best.

My kitchen will give you a seat,
But please don’t be “cookie cutter”.
Think of something crazy to eat,
And I’ll get the pans and butter.
