Sounds Wiccan maybe? Or a hallucination? An inititation? Whatever it was, some lovely writing and a distinct mood.

Some lovely descriptions – vivid, and hallucinogenic, as the others have noted. Reaching for, but not quite attaining, transcendence. On a technical note, I found the repeated use of the ampersand oddly quite distracting; I appreciate, though, that it does save on the character count.

JonB- when it comes to meeting the character count, you do what you must. If someone finds it distracting, so be it, that’s on them.
