Continuing the theme that I chose for last year’s NaFicWriMo, I’m setting myself the goal of writing a story for each day of the year, but not in real time. This is a project that will last for many years to come.

Very beautifully described. I thought it was a duel at first, so nicely written to have that level of tension involved.

I found myself constructing the rest of the story in my mind, although I have no idea if it’s what you envisioned! The emotion/tension in this was very well done.

The tag definitely helps put it in context! A former lover of Mata Hari’s, perhaps?

Oh, and a passing thought – despite her famed beauty, Mata Hari actually looks a lot like Rowan Atkinson to me!
