Cici glanced nervously at her friend as they sat in class.

She knew something was up. The sheer size of that belly, the way it seemed to wiggle… And it didn’t help that Melissa was absent,even though she’d been there for first period.

Deep down, Cici was certain that Sally was insane. She didn’t show much sympathy for anyone she didn’t know, and was always talking about something called “unbirth”…

Cici’s eyes widened as her brain made a connection. She raised her hand. “Teacher?” she asked. “I have to go to the bathroom.”
