A New Beggining
Jessy finished her explanation and looked down at her belly. It seemed a bit smaller… How quickly was Sally’s age degressing?
“That’s actually kinda cool,” Sally said, her voice a bit higher. “I- ngh!” Jessy felt her twitch violently.
“What’s wrong?” Jessy asked, resting her hand on her belly.
“M-my body’s shrinking!” Sally yelled in alarm.
Jessy smiled widely. “That means your new life is about to begin, my child.” She caressed her belly as it began to visibly shrink, ever so slowly flattening out.
“No, wait!” Sally yelled, starting to struggle. “I thought you meant…” Her voice quieted down as Jessy’s belly flattened out entirely, save for a small hard lump.
Jessy closed her eyes, a peaceful expression on her face. Finally, after struggling with infertility for years, she was going to have a baby.
Sally would retain none of her memories, save for those that told her of how her species’ society worked.
Jessy stood up, stretched, patted her belly, and walked out of the room.
