Hivelings Pt. 30

Cassidy cringed. “Um…” she said, “did you have to eat her?”

“I am merely holding her until I can hand her over to the police,” Cecilia answered. No need to give her a bad impression of her principal… “Is your mother all right?”

Cassidy nodded. “I saw the harpy spit her up to chase me,” she responded.

Cecilia nodded. “Go home then,” she told her. “Remember, our first private class is tommorow at 1:00 PM.”

Cassidy hugged her. “I’ll remember that,” she said. “Thanks for the help!” She buzzed her wings and took off for home.

Cecilia looked down at her stomach as the harpy moaned. “No… please…” came the harpy’s voice. “Lemme go…”

“No one attacks my students and lives,” Cecilia responded. She turned and slithered back into the building, ignoring the harpy’s pleads for mercy.
