“…so now that we’ve covered the basics of struggling,” Cecilia said, “tell me how you would escape my belly if I were to eat you.”
Cassidy raised her hand. “Quick strikes to the front to cause stomach cramps,” she began, “followed by use of nails to create cuts. The combo of scrapes and bruises would force you to cough me up.”
Cecilia nodded. “Very good, miss East,” she told her. “Of course, any sensible predator would lay on top of you to limit movement, so it’s not always possible to escape.” She then looked at Tabitha. “Miss North, come here please,” she said.
Tabitha walked over to her, and was promptly swallowed whole. She began to struggle from panic.
“Another tactic,” Cecilia said, “is to convince your predator to spare you. Tabitha, convince me.”
“How?!” Tabitha shrieked, kicking as hard as she could.
“Doesn’t matter” was the response.
