Hivelings Pt. 42

Velvet sat back in the chair, grinning as she looked at the viewscreen. Her belly was reduced to a much rounder shape and was the size of a full-term pregnant woman’s. Mia was still alive, but barely. She was in no shape to struggle, and was reduced to begging uselessly.

“So,” Velvet said, ignoring her prey’s moans, “they fell for it?”

“Indeed,” came the distorted voice. “It worked perfectly, as all your plans do, my love.”

Velvet giggled. “Oh, you,” she said. “Anyways, the spy was in fact Mia?”

There was a chuckle. “Indeed,” the voice said. “She looks good in you.”

Velvet purred. “Well, she’ll be gone later… I must say, I’m surprised she’s still alive.”

“As long as her body’s intact and she wants to live, she’ll live,” the voice explained. “It’s when they give up that they finally digest.”

“Makes sense,” Velvet muttered. “So, when will you bring me Cecilia?”

The man behind the monitor grinned.

“Soon, my dear.”
