I don’t know if this is what you were going for, but I like dark humor. That’s the direction this seems to be going. I mean, I love how your character seems so nonchalant, going about her day, like some kind of sociopath that is unaware that the act she committed was vile. The finger is a great focal point in this passage. I’d love to read more.
