Garden of Eden
She wandered through the bushes, searching for him. She loves him, because that is what she is told to do. In this new existence, she must always do as she’s told. Her name is Eve.
He says he’s lonely, horribly lonely because of this love he feels for her. Eve doesn’t know if he is talking about her, or that other woman, but she doesn’t care, because she is told not to.
She is told that she must do whatever he tells her to do, without question. She finds it odd, and sometimes unfair, but it isn’t her place to question his wisdom.
She finds him sitting under a tree, the Forbidden tree, holding the delicious looking fruit. “Come try this, Eve.” he says, so she does as she’s told.
