Obviously this goes into Sandman-ish territory, but it doesn’t feel derivative. Great first line, too.
What does the title mean, though?
Ganesha is the “Lord of Obstacles”, in more modern times, he’s usually seen as the remover of obstacles…but he is also credited with placing obstacles in the way of those who need them.
Intriguingly different perspective on the afterlife. Well done!
“So why is she the only one of me who ended her own life?” Good lead in to what the story is about—made me read it twice. Interesting premise.
